It has has only been three years since the first annual Steeple Award show took place and it is growing tremendously.
The event took place this past weekend at New Life Baptist Church of Decatur, Georgia and featured some of the greats, both old and new, ranging from Dorothy Norwood to JJ Hairston.
The award show founder,Chandon Carter, took time to talk with me about how the show got started (see interview below).
What I absolutely love about this show is that most of the performers as well as the musical guests are emerging and independent gospel artists.
