It Can Happen! You don’t have to be a signed artist to get to the top. Well, Roy Cotton did it!!! And I’m glad about it!
Debuted at #2 right now is new release, “Bring Back the Hymns”. Roy Cotton, usually in the background, he says, and on projects for a stream of artists like Tamela Mann and Richard Smallwood and usually completing string arrangements. This time Cotton actually headed this new project.
He tells musicians “Think of this as a tutorial for hymns!” emphasizing that there is not only a need of knowledge for playing these songs in today’s church but a need to play it masterfully and with very little deviation.
