Dr. Charles B. Jackson said it best, “This brother is the real deal!” Last night at Brookland Baptist Church, the live recording of John Lakin III was everything that it was promised to be (pun intended)… and then some. Lakin is still writing rhema (origins from heaven) music and this time he combined it with producer, Evan Brice, and a team of great musicians which included Evan’s father and legendary guitarist Eric Brice and not to mention a team of great vocalists including D’nar Young, Talysha Jones, and more.
It was the lyrics…It was the excellence…the vocal arranging…It was all that. Yet, at the end of the day…It was about Him.
